Hi ALL,
Actually need help with 2 topics:

1. Getting BUG1369 errors when trying to dial-in to the new PRI on the Option 11c. Need to confirm that it is related to the wrong PRI type. The Option 11c has just being moved from Bell Canada (DMS-100) to AT&T (NI2).

2. While trying to change IFC to NI2 in LD 17 it complains that the D-channel (PRI) has to be disabled first. Where do I do this?

Thanks

First go to LD 96

.dis dch x

Then go to LD 60

.disl x <-- you loop number

Then go to LD 14

REQ: out 23
TN: whatever the loop number is

Then go to LD 16 and reprogam the route for NI2

Then go to LD 17 and reprogram the Dchannel

You have to out the route and Dchannel because you cant change the IFC.

Then rebuild the Trunks in LD 14.

Reset the T1 and you should be good.

John

Thanks a lot,

The only issue I am running into,- is when I go to LD 16 to reconfigure the trunk it does not allow to use NI2 on the ISA trunk. Do I have to change it to TIE?

You probably have to reprogram them as just straight up DID trunks. That is how I always set up NI2. Your new CO will probably not support ISA trunks. Don't for get to redo your BARS programming.
