Disable 'View' option in ePortfolio 1

Most of our reports are scheduled and we are asking our users to Click on 'View Latest Instance', but some users are mistakenly clicking on 'View' and it kicks of the report and putting a lot of burden on the Server. Sometimes it even brings down the entire database.

So I was trying to disable 'View' option and keep only 'View Latest Instance' and 'History' options for the users. I want to do this at the Report Level.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, In the CMC if you set the rights to View (instead of view on demand) they should only get to view latest instance.

I played with for sometime and I was able do it. I've selected the "View On Demand" at the folder level, but at the individual Report level I had only these Rights explicitly granted.

View Objects
View Document Instances
Print the Report's Data
Export the Report's Data

Now for that particular report, the user has only two options 'View Latest Instance' and 'History'.

There's a small trick here. If you want to wipe off the exisitng rights and give a brand new sets of rights. From the drop down menu under 'Access Levels' select 'No Access' and then Update and then click 'Advanced' and select the brand new Rights settings and then Update.
