Just curious what you are trying to accomplish?
If you are referring to the pc facing port, and are trying to prevent network access, you could assign it to a dead ended VLAN.

There is a configuration checkbox for "Enable PC Port" on the IP Phone 2007. Hit the "toobox" icon at the bottom left of the screen and then "Network Configuration".

This can also be set via the Nortel-i2004-B options or the TFTP-based configuration files.

nhphoneguy - Just trying to secure the network.

gwebster - I see it on the touchscreen, but its grayed out. Not sure how to change it. the i2007 is using firmware 0621C6D.

If the option is grayed out, then it is configured for auto provisioning (as opposed to manual provisioning) and can be set using the Nortel-i2004-B option or TFTP-based configured files. You can change it to allow for manual provisioning by hitting the "Auto" softkey.

Grab a recent copy of the "IP Phones Fundamentals" NTP for more information on the automatic/manual provisioning capabilities.

gwebster - Thank you very much. Info was most helpful and much appreciated. Thanks again.
