In previous versions of IE you could edit the registry to disable the "Delete" history button in the Internet Options control panel.

Does anyone know how to do this in IE 7 ?

In Windows XP Pro you can do that with the group policy editor.

On ie7, click tools, internet options, then press delete under browsing history and choose what you want to delete.

No, I'm wanting to go the other way, that is, to prevent a history delete. It looks like the group policy editor is the way to go.

Thanks folks.

Oh sorry misread your post. My apologies
