Does anyone know how to stop (other than removing the machine from the domain) the domain policy running on a member computer?

Our admins a screwing all my settings I use different resources to most of our uses and the policy sets stuff like the proxy and what not automatically , it is killing me. I have to change the settings manually every 10 seconds...

Hi Foo,

You have to talk to your Net Admin if you don't like it. I'm sure he/she can do it easily.

Errm.. Nope my admin staff are completely incompedant.

Take it up with management? - what you want to do isn't possible.

You're system and user account will have to be placed in an OU in AD that blocks inheritance of the domain GPO. That's the only fix aside from removing your computer from the domain.
