We have an IPOv2 running on 9.0 and some users on 9620s who are disabling their ringer by turning it down to zero.
Is there a way to disable them from doing this or setting a minimum volume the ringer can be set to?

Yes, tell them if you find their phone turned down or see them turning any down they're sacked, works a treat :)

amriddle01, if only! The only way I can think of doing this (aside that) is to switch their phones out with 5610s as they don't allow you to mute the ringer..

46xxsettings file is your friend...

There is a specific setting that allows the volume to be adjusted down but not to zero.

I'll leave it to you to find and post the right setting.

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

I am with Amriddle
i the users are muting there phones because they don't want to answer them (& not answering them) then they are deliberately refusing to do their job.

This constituted misconduct & is best dealt with by hr
it usually only takes 1 p45 for the practice to stop :)

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
