I've lost my mind. I would like to be able to automatically send any incorrectly addressed email to the postmaster (me) rather than having E2k send a bounce message to the sender.

Why can I not find how to do this anywhere? I know its basic but I can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone got the answer to this?? I would like to do this as well.

Cheers

Exchange System Manager\Global Settings\Internet Message Formats\Default (Properties) - go to the Advanced tab and uncheck "allow non-delivery reports". Then on your smtp virtual server, set your NDR recipient to whomever you like.

Thanks for that.

Any way of getting it to send the message to postmaster not just the NDR?

Cheers

Baz

now you're kind of talking about journaling, which is a different setting on the virtual server.

If the postmaster exists in the Exchange system the original message is attached to the NDR. Open the NDR, then choose "Send Again" from your Outlook client. The original message will appear and you can send to any mailbox.
