Hello everyone!

We have a small problem,

In the company we have a Nortel 0x32 system, ver old I think, we dont know the software version, the technician who manages this system is not answering our calls and he left configured like this:

All incoming calls are forwarded to extension called "8699" but we need to be forwarded to the principal extension (receptionist) called "8690"

I already checked via "Feature * 738" and there is nothing configured on forward on busy an other related to forward, so I think is configured on the programming area, we have access to this area via "Feature **266344" and password.

Can someone help us to find where is this set?

Thank you and soory if this is already on the forum, we did a lot of searching on this site but maybe we are not searching correctly.

Thanks!

Jorge.

I think you mean that the incoming calls are ringing at extension 8699. Please correct me if you meant something else by "forwarded".

First, you could look at the lines that are currently ringing at extension 8699. In programming, that would be Terminals & Sets > 8699 > Line Access > Line Assignment. Press the LIST softkey until you went through all the assigned lines.

Then, you can assign the same lines to extension 8690.

Finally, you can remove the lines from extension 8699 if they are no longer needed on that set.

Hello Multimedium,

Yes, all incoming calls are ringing on 8699 and we need to ring on 8690.

Let me check what you recommeds and I get back.

Thanks.

Jorge.

follow what multimedium said, then just unassign the lines on 8699 and assign them to APPEAR AND RING on 8690.

Hello again,

Under programming ¨-> Terminals & Sets > 8699 we only have:
Capabilities
Name
User preferences
Restrictions
Telco Features

No line assignment on this menu.

Under "Feature *LINE" I can see the Line Access > Line Assignment menu, but I cant modify nothing here.

Any idea?

Thanks.

You are using the wrong password such as admin.

I am curious as to what happened.
Did this occur on its own? did you have the tech program line to 8699?
What are the details of this issue?.

Hello curlycord,

We told to our tech to do this because we don't have a receptionist until a few days ago. We need the incoming calls ring on this extension but now we have a receptionist and 8690 is our main extension.

Is there a method to recover the password? I have read at this site and the FAQs says I have to erase all the programming to recover OMG!

Thanks.

The password is might be at default but regardless you are using the wrong password.

F**266344 get you access to both admin and config sections, it just depends which password you use.

We cannot give passwords out on these forums.
