DISA over PRI not working

I have a BCM 400 4.0 and I am trying to set up a DISA DN and can't seem to get it working. I have a PRI. I set up Remote Package 01 to allow the proper Line Pools. I have added Pkg 01 to each line on the PRI. I add the 4 digit DISA DN DID to the Public Network page. When I dial the DISA number, I get a recording saying there are network difficulties(I don't think it is from the BCM) and not studder dial tone. If I put the DID in as a Target Line, it works fine. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I am missing. Thanks.

jlk53, All I did was put my rec digits in the Public DISA DN Feild and it worked just like the book says. The only difference between the 3.7 and the 4.0 I'm working with is the Rec Digits Length. The 3.7 is 7 digits long and the 4.0 is 4 digits long. Other than that it is all the same from what I can see.

hawks, the only thing that I haven't tried is a good old re-boot. I think that I will try that. Will advise.

I just set it up on a 4.0 with PRI and a rcvd digit length of 10 without any problems...

BTW, my rcvd digit length from the carrier is 4.. Just had to set the BCM to 10 to see if it worked..

Did you try it at 4 also?

Yes, and it worked just fine... Didn't have to do anything other than:

1) Enter Received Digits in DISA DN
2) Setup COS Password


Worked straight away..

DBresky, can you post your PRI settings. Might be something different there.

NI-2 Protocol is really the only thing.. All other stuff is about the pipe (ie: timing, etc)..
