DISA help

Hi all,

I have a MICS 7.0 with 4 analogue trunks.Is it possible to programme DISA with analogue trunks?
If yes please tell me the steps.

No! You need to recieve digits and analog does not pass them but T1 or PRI do.

Loop start trunks can be configured as manual-answer or auto-answer. The answer mode determines how the system handles incoming calls.
When a call comes in on a manual-answer loop start trunk, it alerts at all telephones with that line appearance.
When a call comes in on an auto-answer loop start trunk that is configured to answer with direct inward system access(DISA), the caller hears a stuttered dial tone. They must enter a six-digit Class of Service (COS) password from a DTMF telephone to access system dial tone.

For Loop Start or CI Trunk Cartridges installed in a Trunk
Module, you will also need one E&M/DISA Trunk Cartridge for every two loop start trunks that you configure
as auto-answer. The E&M/DISA Trunk Cartridge provides
two DTMF receivers to receive the incoming digits from
the central office

I put DISA on a CICS. I had to put a target line on each set I wanted to dial into thru DISA. I made the received digits on the target match the DN of the set.

That means CICS with analogue trunks?

The trunk is set on Answer mode to Auto
Answer with DISA to yes
Under System Programing >Remote Access> Remote access Package (number) Tell it what can be accessed (pool,page
Under Passwords
The COS password is set with 6 digits, the filter is set (I used and empty filter), and remoted package number is set.
I think thats about it.
