Have a customer running BCM400 v4 patched to date. They have requested using Disa on a specific DDI number.
I have put the received public number in the Disa DN field, and when this number is called, I received stuttered dial tone.

When I enter COS password, I receive secondary dial tone, and I can then dial any internal DN, but I am unable to dial off switch. i enter dest code of 9 followed by the number but nothing happens.
In UIP in BCM monitor, it states invalid number format.

My question is, am I right is putting received Public number in Public DISA DN field?

Do I need to specify a DN within the BCM with correct restriction filter for COS password?

Any help appreciated.

We are in the UK, and the customer is using PRI

They did require the option to have this via AA/CCR, but I dont think that will work.

Cheers

Yes you need to build a Remote Package with the filter and COS. Then assign that package to the PRI pool to let it know that it is ok to use it.

Thanks Hawks,
I already have Remote Access Package 01 allocated to all lines on the PRI.
I have selected COS 10, set the password and using Filter 02 for extns and 03 for lines.
This is where I have got a little confused. As the Disa DN is not an extn on the BCM, it is the public received, how would that know that it can use blocA for outbound?

Sorry for my vagueness
