Hey all,
Last week when Wiredawg posted re DISA/Auto answer trunking on an 8X24 I got curious. Of course he's right the 8x24 DR5 installer guide is horrible on this matter. Also it seems that on all the past posts this question has not been answered successfully for an 8X24. So I got an 8x24 DR5, Trunk module, E&M card, LS/DS card and stuck it all together and tried to follow all the tips and all the manual's directions.
ZIP
I am not getting dial tone, solid or stuttered. The LS/DS card is going off hook but no dial tone is returned. Eventually a reorder tone is returned. I'm not sure if the reorder tone is Telco or Norstar... suspect Telco. It's too late to check tonight.
E&M card is set for E&M, auto answer. LS/DS card is set for loop & auto answer. How do I get the DTMF receivers to look at the loop start auto answer circuit of the LS/DS card and send dial tone?
Alarm 63 - x - y comes up indicating no DTMF recievers available. Besides the possibility that the E&M card is hooped, what do I need to look at next?
Cheers all.
