Ok, here we go. I have a computer that has some video problems. I cannot run some directx games. For instance, I can run Harry Potter for my cousin, which uses heavy 3d, but I cannot run a game like Warcraft. It gives me a directx error. When I run dxdiag, i cannot run direct3d acceleration or agp texture acceleration. I have latest 4in1 drivers, nvidia drivers, and directx 9.0a
Specs:
AMD 2400xp,
windows xp pro,
Nvidia ti4200 128mb card,
biostar M7VITPro motherboard, and lots of ram.

Need help please, anything will be tried.

Also, my motherboard has a VIA chipset, with award bios which have been updated, and my vid card is 128mb 8xAGP

Hello!
It sounds like your board is stuck in PCI mode somehow.
(check that out ,is agp 4X/8X enabled in display/advanced)

I experienced this myself once .
Had to uninstall all display drivers (running just with vga)
reinstalled the agp chipset driver(ypor case via)
Reintall the display drivers.

nVidia gas released version 53.03 that addresses this issue as well as other limitations. Download the upgrade!

ImproperBostonian ! why are you replying a three
months old post .

(And by the way , in my case it was the via chipsets gart driver problem , not nvidia display drivers)
