Hi,

I've got a replication problem between 2 sites in the same organisation. Replication occurs fine from site A to site B but replication won't work between site B and site A.
The directory service mailbox in site B has 1 message left in its mailbox when there should not be any.

Does anyone know of a program / tool / utility that can clean the directory service mailbox?

When I try and create a profile for the directory service mailbox I get a message stating that the mailbox name cannot be found.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The instructions to solve this particular problen are contained toards the bottom of the following article:
Be warned that this can be a risky and lengthy process - I'd follow the advice of deleting and recreating the DirRep connectors first to see if this solves the problem (be aware that this will remove any cross-site DL memberships between the replicated sites you are affecting).

Thanks zbnet,

I'd found that website yesterday but it wasn't until you'd recommended it that I tried it. I'd started performing the task when I thought of something that I should have done……………….

…………..in Site B I've got 2 servers so what I did was created the rep connector from the other server in Site B to site A. Within minutes the replication started.

Don't know why I didn't do it in the first place. However one good thing to come out of it is I know a lot more about replication problems and how to fix them now.

Thanks again zbnet

Regards
