Directory and Call barred...

Hi guys,
I am trying to figure out this but I don't think its possible...
EXT 251 can call local only. XXXXXXXN, Dial, N, ARS main.
EXT 251 can call LD with force account code. 1XXXXXXXXXXN, Dial, 1N, ARS main, Force account code check.
So far its working right.
But now, customer want to use Directory entry so the EXT 251 can use the external speed dial without the need to enter the account code. For what I found in the Avaya docs, the only way for a Directory number to override is by using call barred... But if i am using call barred in the shortcode in the ARS, then I can't override LD call with a account code anymore...
thoughts?

First, in the USER programming, on the SHORT CODES TAB you have the option to FORCE ACCOUNT CODE and/or FORCE AUTHORIZATION CODE.

Second, if you are using ARS you can create a new ARS ROUTE and in the USER tab go to SHORT CODES tab and ADD and new code so that when the user dials out, they use the new ARS ROUTE.
USER>SHORT CODE TAB: Click on the ADD button,
CODE: 9N (or whatever number you use to dial out you can replace 9 with that if needed)
FEATURE: DIAL 3K1 (Should be same as your T1-PRI Trunk Type)
TELEPHONE NUMBER: N (Or you can specify the number to be dialed here only if you are BARRING ALL OTHER CALLS)
LINE GROUD ID: 52 (Replace 52 with the new ARS ROUTE that you built earlier)

NOTE: You may need to adjust some programming in the ARS Route or the User depending upon how things are programmed.
Such as BARRING CALLS at the USER Level or the ARS LEVEL.

You are within north America then you are good to go because we have all numbers the same length.

you restrict the user from outgoing calls in the User - Telephony - Supervisor Settings "Outgoing Call Bar"
the checkmark in System - Telephony - Telephony "Directory Overrides Barring" should take care of the dialing from directory
and for local calls make a user shortcode
9xxxxxxxxxx (if you dial 7 digits locally then make it 7 x's only)
Dial emergency
N
ARS of your choice

and also

91xxxxxxxxxx
dial Emergency
1N
ARS where the force account code is enable

this will make sure that the user can still make local calls without problems and long distance with the code as well.
