An employee has just left our company so we need to redirect his incoming e-mail to another account - so it can be checked for important messages.

For example, all incoming mail to the e-mail address jason@abc.com needs directing to andrew@abc.com. Both users have Outlook accounts.

Is this an easy thing to do in Exchange 5.5?

Regards

It is a very easy thing to do indeed.

Open the (ex-)user's mailbox in Exchange Admin.
Click the Delivery Options tab.
Specify an alternate recipient.
Click "Deliver messages to both recipient and alternate recipient".
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Voila!

Hope that helps,

Charlotte

Delete Jason's old mailbox and just add jason@abc.com address to andrew@abc.com email addresses.

Any help?
