Hi,
I have TSW system connected with Mx-one telephony server over Q-sig...where the TSW is connected to another TSW using DSS protocol (T-interface).
System A :TSW which works like PSTN.
System B: is the TSW which is in between the two systems, which is connected Qsig with the telephony server, and DSS to the other TSW.
System C is the MX-one telephony server.

Extension 100 refers to system B.
Extension 601 refers to the telephony server.

Route 1 is the T-interface route between systems A and B.(dest=3)
Route 2 is the Q-sig route between System B and C.(dest=6)

The Telepony server users (extension 601) make the outgoing calls to system A(PSTN) through the TSW system B...

I want when I make a call from system C (TSE) to system A(PSTN) through System B... I want the number (601) to be translated to 5652112. I need all translation to be in System B...

for this I configured IN SYSTEM B
NUTRI:ENTRY=601,TRC=3,PRE=5652112,CNVTYP=1,NUMTYP=10,ROU=1;
But this doesn't work .. always I got 601 in system A phones displays...
if you note I considered 601 as internal number for sytem B, since they are connected over Q-sig.is this right?

I know that I could play with it through system C using RONDI and NUTRI...but is it possible to do all the translation through system B??
How to do that??
Your advice is highly appreciated.

since this is a transit call case, cnvtyp 1 will not work. you must use cnvtyp 2. and you must enable the enhanced sent A-number conversion (RODDI ADC D24=1) on the outgoing dest to system A.

Hello Daddy,
I tried that in the transit switch but the same!!! I always got 601 when I receive the call at system A (pstn)..

Again my parameters:

System A acts as a PSTN (TSW) (extension 301).
When I call from system C (Ext.601) to system A (PSTN) (ext. 301), the call goes though system B (transit), I need system B to send the CLIP of the entry 601 as 5652112 to system C , as I programmed in system B...
Your advice is highly appreciated

try this (SYSTEM B)

NUTRE:ENTRY=601;
NUTRI:ENTRY=601,CNVTYP=2,NUMTYP=2,TARDEST=3,TRC=R,PRE=5652112;

if it still does not work

make a call trace:

STUNI:UNIT=SLP60,LIM=1,MSKSIG=02&03&A1,STORE=YES; /*assuming trunks are in LIM1

STTSI:TRI=1;
/* make transit call */
STTSE:TRI=1;
/* open logfile */
STRAP:TRI=1;
/* close logfile */
analyze this file with signal trace interpreter (SAM toolbox). If you don't have SAM toolbox, attach the file in this thread (use step3 attachment). I will interpret it for you.

Hi Daddy,
CNVTYP=2 couldn't be used together with TARDST..
CNVTYP must be 1 to be used with TARDST..

Daddy, does the scenario Im trying is acheivable?? do you have some sites with same scenario??

I have done the traces many times before for a transit call ,at the transit switch ofcourse (TSW),...always I got the calling number 601!!! anyway below you find the trace of a transit call:extension 601 (system C) is calling 302 (PSTN-system A)

ah, my bad.

you need to use CNVTYP 1.

/* system B */
NUTRE:ENTRY=601;
NUTRI:ENTRY=601,CNVTYP=1,NUMTYP=0,TARDEST=3,TRC=R,PRE=5652112;

this will do the trick

I meant TRC=3 (type)

I tested your config in lab and my NUTRP works on my lab systems.
One odd thing is that your BCAP parameter = 001100 on your routes, this should be 111100 to allow 64k calls (that's what I'm seeing in the traces).
change them and see what you get.
