Direct Dial Question

I have a customer that wants the direct dial (0) to ring several phones. When I program the direct dial 2, 3, Etc. The system ignores those sets and only rings set 1. Is there a trick to making this work?

you would have to setup an answer dn of the direct dial set

the direct dial 2 ,3,4 ext are for if you change a set to use that direct dial set

eg dd 1 ext 221
dd 2 ext 230



ext 222 has dd programed on it to use dd1 when they dial 0 it will go to 221


if 222 has dd programed to use dd2 then it will call 230 when dial 0

Right. Primarily for tenant service.

Have you tried building a Hunt Group for the direct dial?

Thanks, the hunt group was the way to go.
