hey everyone - i recently set up a hub using Direct Connect (neomodus software) for people at my university and it works great (ips restricted to only people at my school). only problem is sometimes these strange user names come up which are the same as one that is already logged on, with a number tacked on the end. for example, 'bobster' may be logged on, and then another user 'bobster2' will appear on the user list also. these users have the same ip address as the original, so i can't just perm ban their ip. the number behind the name goes up by one each time the user quits and logs in again to try and get rid of this extra. any ideas on how to get rid of these phantom users?
