Direct cable connection

Has anyone had experience with Direct Cable Connection? I have the necessary cable connecting the two computers via Com ports, but I can't figure out what to do next. One computer has Win95 and the other has Win98. I have a couple of books that supposedly give directions, but their screens don't look like either of mine. Any help would be appreciated.

After Direct Connect is install on both systems, You will also need to install Client for Microsoft Networking for both, then have both systems on the same workgroup name. You will then need to enable file and printer sharing. It would probably help to have a file shared already. Hope this helps. I can walk you through if you like. alcoranna@aol.com
