we have a lot of names in our system dir.
right now, to look up a name, you have to hit the system dir button, then enter a letter (3 x 5 for L), then hit enter.

I was wondering if this could go any faster.
Is it possible to go directley to the systemdir letter L with 1 flexible key?
Or maybe hit the system dir button, and then a flexible key for entering L enter.

I tried programming a 5, 55 and 555 under flexible keys.
But when i hit the system dir button, and then the flexible key with 555 programmed under it. It leaves the system dir search field, and just enters 555 as a number to call.

So in short.
To go to the letter L in the system dir, right now i have to hit 4 keys:
- system dir button
- 3 x 5 button
- enter button
Is there a way to shorten this?

Its not "down arrow" but
"right arrow" once for personal dir
"right arrow" twice for system dir

But what i realy like is to program a "flexible key"
so when i push it, it goes directly into the system dir
to a specific letter.

Or, if that is not possible.

Hit the "system dir" button (or 2x right arrow)
then program a "flexible key" to go to a letter.

it is what it is !if I was doing a lot of speed dialing
I'dd be doing it with outlook and the TDA tapi driver
