Is there such a thing? I had the unit donated and wont be around to install it so I wanted to read through the manual to see how the wiring scheme is and how to get the unit running with three lines. (Be gentle this is my first norstar system and my first post). Thanks in advance.

I think that for the 8x24 vintage, all manuals were still hardcopy. Have never seen a .pdf for it. Maybe someone else has seen one.
The most important thing to look for is one that matches the software version of your software cartridge because programming varies from version to version.

On the same note could anybody tell me what type of connector plugs into the unit and runs to the punchdown block? (ie how many pairs and all that good stuff). Thanks.

You will need 25-pair female amphenols to plug into the 824. Lines are on the top amphenol, stations on the bottom. Check our website and click on reference guides for the wiring chart of the 824.
