Good day,

I am attempting to install an expansion module onto an IP Office control unit with release software 9.1. However the pbx is not recognizing the expansion module. The module was taken from another control unit with the same release 9.1 software. The license on the system has small site software upgrade included. Is there a compatibility issue with the license in connecting to an expansion module?

Long time ago… but IIRC the small site Software update license doesn't allow to use expansion modules.

Thanks much guys. I was attempting to add an expansion module on a IPO with the mentioned license and remembered seeing once that said license does not allow expansions. Then saw in the system status that it said unlicensed under the heading for expansions.

The small system upgrade was dropped so the only option is a full upgrade which means R10 or 11 now. If you have other licenses there is a charge to upgrade these now.
