Have a mix of IP 9608G and 9508 digital phones. IP phones log back on automatically after a reboot or power failure but my regular digital phones do not. Can someone please tell me how to accomplish this if possible? I do not have Force Login checked and all phones have a login code.

Thanks for any help...

Then the extension numbers of the DS phones are different as the users telephone number.
In IP Phones the number is stored in the phone itself and probably match the users telephone number.

Thanks for the replies...

If I look under extensions, I do not see the extensions that I have setup with users. In other words, if I have for example ext 521 for user "Bob" it will not show up under extensions. It only shows what I believe are the available ones. So, how do I match them?

That's correct, you probably don't. The extension number of the port can be completely different than the user number that is created. You're going to have to determine which port the actual digital phone is plugged into and change that extension port number to the user number.

Intrigant would probably know better though.......

Use SSA, in the left panel you click on extensions, it will show a list of all extensions and which users are logged on to that extension.
The two most left columns show the extension number and the logged on user. Other columns show the hardware address of the extension.
All you have to do is to match the telephonnumber in the most left column with the users extension number.

In manager select the extensions and change the extension numbers to the value of the users telephone number found in SSA.

If you select all records in SSA > extensions and you press Ctrl-C you can copy everything into a excel sheet which makes it easier to sort the list while reprogramming in Manager.
Changing the extension numbers do not require a reboot so it can be done while the system is in use.

Thank you all, was able to update and match all the extensions.
