Digital Phone, Remote VPN Phone, Same Voicemail Lamp Condition?

I have a user who has a digital phone in the office and a VPN phone at his house. Is it possible for him to have one voicemail account (associated with his digital extension) but be able to retrieve it at either location using visual voice, and have both message lamps be on or off?

I haven't been able to do either, have been playing around with the source number field with no luck.

Why not use the same extension for both devices? Or does he want different extensions for each?

If you want different extension's you'll want to use a mailbox associated with a hunt group and assign the hunt groups name or extension to the source number for each user so that they can retrieve the messages using visual voicemail (e.g. HMain or H200 added to the source number will work for a hunt group of "Main" with an extension of 200).
