Has any body installed the Nortel Digital mobility wireless?
How is the reception/coverage/quality?
How was the installation?
I was told it is made by spectra link & has great results..

Thanks

I've installed 3 of them and so far so good. Only issue is in a warehouse type enviorment with many brick walls and metal shelving can cause problems with reception. Wiring electric for repeaters can be a pain for the customer. Installation and programming is very easy. External antenna is great for sites with multiple buildings and no wiring.

Did the reapeaters help at all?
I have a similar problem with a supermarket warehouse and may have to go the reapeater route, unless adding another base station (which i have) would be better. Just getting into the Digital Mobility, so i'm still trying to get a handel on it.

Repeaters are easy because YOU don't have to do any wiring. Also they are not restricted to a cable and can be moved around. Did you do a survey with the Deployment tool? That helped me out alot on the first one.

I have a customer who works out of his house. He had years of coverage troubles with the T7406. He bought DM and is VERY pleased with the coverage, but is disappointed that they don't have the multiple line appearances of the T7406.
