digital line card auto disable issue

recently, i met the problem that all digital line card will auto disable. these card are not connecting with digital phones, but i have delete the DROL 30 32. Why...

if there are no phones connected to the card then why does it matter if it is disabled anyway?

Are phones built on the card?

the matter is when new staff coming in, they connect their phone to the port, phones don't work due to ports are disabled...

They bring there own phone with them? what kind of a Mickey Mouse company is this.

You should keep LD 30 in the DROL as it could cause problems if it's not there.

Having phones that are programmed but not plugged in can also cause the system to do an INI after a while.

There is a CLS for the phone that will keep it from disabling during the DROL, but I don't remember what it is, someone else might know.




This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

does anyone know how to config the CLS for the phone that will keep it from disabling?

cls FLXA will prevent an individual set from ld 30 routine. Okay for a small amount of sets.

thanks bigindian65, i will try that and see what will happen after the mid night routine. one more question, how many sets exactlly do you mean okay for a small amount of sets?

I really can't say, a lot of people would take 30 out of mids on motorolas just to cut down on tickets and keep sets forwarded w/o phantom or ACD. The word was Pentiums do not play well without midnights, and sometimes Moto wouldn't. Upper data TNBs 16-thru 31 on CP actually call for that config with VCE, FLXA and another CLS mark, I wouldn't be scared of 20 or so
