Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully used the telcos local loops to extend them to a 61C digital line card and have the local loops terminating in call center Bix a couple kilos away?
Is this possible and is there anylimitations on the distance.
Thanks in advance,
Wyles

don't have that chart on hand, this web site has the manual you need, if you have a direct cable pair for that distance and it not loaded (load coils to re-sync rest/cap). you'll be on the far limit. a carrier or fiber remote would be a better solution, if it'a a very small site, maybe look a a norstar with analog stations from your switch for dial tone. that can be set up copper or line side t1..

Hi John,
I don't know where you find the time to answer everyone but we sure do appreciate it.
Thanks for the site, there is a lot of information there.
I will try to find the manual.
