We are working a large job. We have around 40 of 80 digital extensions lit. We get into an office and 1 of the digital phones works and the one analog extension works. The others do not want to come up. We have toned out the pairs and the tone is loud and clear, but no phone. We have tried different phones and jacks. The phone works plugged directly into the DS 30 v2.

Any ideas? Could this be a grounding issue?

Have you got any cable joints?? 2 digital phones on the same pair will not work.

I have seen this alot when people on old alog systems shared an extn but had 2 phones in different locations.

There has been an issue with v4 where by if the network clock is having issues it cause probs with expansion modules.

Strange but true.

Try setting clock quality to unsuitable, does it make any difference?
