Hi,
We have a Partner II ACS. I need something to answer the phone and say "Your can may be monitored or recorded..." and then ring through to the phone system with caller id. We have 7 incoming lines. Do you know of anything that would work?

We don't like the AA since it rings like someone is paging you and it doesn't show the caller id. Or is there a way to change both of these?

Thanks,
Travis

Some clarification is needed.

Do you have a Partner ACS or a Partner II? The processor can only be one or the other. [ponder]

With feature 59 I get "PACS R7.07 91I".

I'll check out that link.

Thanks,
Travis

I believe that the Avaya Partner Messaging R7 will pass caller ID info along on calls that transfer out of the auto attendant, but then again, if telephones are set for immediate ring, caller ID info should appear on the display between the first and seconds rings.

Pick up a ASA/DXD card , put it into the slot next to the back-up restore card,, check at Avaya.com , how to program which is not that hard , or search from previous threads

Hi everyone,
I got the caller id to display, just had to set the AA to answer on the 2nd ring.

I have a question about the ASA/DXD card, our phone guy said that if someone answer the phone while the card is playing the message that it will stop the message and that the phones will ring while it is playing the message. Is that correct?

Thanks,
Travis

it's a matter of teaching proper use, when using ASA , set for 1 ring, the system answers, ,people need to let the ASA do it job,and not pick up the call on hold ,until it rings their phones,

Could you set the phones to Delayed Ring, the ASA answer to 2 rings, and the ASA mode to Ring? I don't have an ASA card around to play with these settings, but it seems that the caller would hear 2 rings, CID would be captured, and the phones would start ringing on the 4th ring, after the caller has hear the ASA message.
