I have a dillemma concerning incoming DiD numbers and matching them to the incoming extension. The following is an example of the problem.

I have purchased a block of DiD's 856-5600-5699 and the carrier will be sending the last four digits to the Merlin Magix via a PRI. The client's extensions that are programmed are 3 digit extensions starting with 101. How do I send the 5601 did number to the 101 extension number?

I hope I explained that correctly

Thank to all of you for taking us to school on digit conversion in Magix. Good information.

With all of this in mind if I wanted to have the Mn # ring directly to the aa with receiving 4 digits ex 5050. Set up pattern 5050, drop 4, add 770

I have done the following

pattern 286
Total digits 4
Delete digits 3
add digits 11

This shud allow did 2860 to route to ext 110, 2861 routes to 111 etc.... I crated ext. 113 but when I dial the 2863 Did I get the console. What Am I missing????
