I'm told we have to convert our PHP based intranet to .NET. No one on the team programs in .NET and there is a huge uproar. How difficult is it to start work in .NET?

If you do objects in your PHP it won't be too hard to make the mental shift. The hard part will be learning the new APIs.

We don't do Objects in PHP. We don't even do API's. How much of a strain for us will it be for "intranet application."
