I have an .mdb with a report that displays properly in Access 2003. The records displayed in the detail section contain a numeric field, sorted in ascending order, and is used as a grouping variable. When the value of the grouping variable changes, the heading text changes.
Therefore, one header displays per page, reflecting the group variable value.
However, when I run this report in Access 2010 (same .mdb), when the value of the group variable changes, both the (1) old heading text displays, and (2) the new heading text displays on the same page. An example of a 6-page report follows:
Pg1 Heading1 detail1
Pg2 Heading1 detail1
Pg3 Heading1 Heading2 detail2
Pg4 Heading2 detail2
Pg5 Heading2 Heading3 detail3
Pg6 Heading3 detail3
The GroupHeader should display the values "Heading1," "Heading2," or "Heading3" depending on the value of group variable that displays in the detail section. Settings for GroupHeader are:
KeepTogether=Yes
RepeatSection=Yes
ForceNewPage=None
NewColorRow=None
Please note that the Page header is suppressed, and there is no Report header.
If anyone has an idea about where to look, in order to avoid the old group heading + the new group heading displaying on the same page (where only the new heading should display), it would be most appreciated.
Thank you, Caryn
