Differential Backup Failed ver. 7.3

The differential backup fails.
The message it gives it:

No appendable media could be mounted.
Error - Mount failed.
Physical Volume Library Media not found.
Job ended: Monday, January 29, 2001 at 3:47:05 PM
Job completion status: Failed

The strange thing is that the full backup works.

Not sure. No appendable media may mean it is overwriting the tape instead of appending.

What are you trying to do? Full backup at the start of the tape then diffs for the rest of the week afterwards on the tape?

Have you tried a dis rec simulation?

yes first a full BK and in the same tape diff. for the rest of the week.

I just found the answer.
it was pointing to a different Media set.
I put it to point to the same media set as the full backup.
