Different types of joins

Hi all,

I am kinda new to ORACLE. Can some 1 here throw me some light on what
1) Nested-loop join.
2) Sort-merge join.
3) Hash join.

are with some simple SQL examples.

You ask about Oracle internal joining techniques, not about SQL operators. Thus almost any sql statement with join may produce any of that execution plans.

1) nested-loop join.
2) sort-merge join.
3) hash join.

in ORACLE.
