different page formats within one file

Dear In-Design workers,

How can one obtain different page-formats within one file or document?
For instance I want to combine a B4 document with some A3 pages in the middle of the document somewhere.
Is this possible - and if - how?

...a plugin is available for this, the free way is the use the book feature or separate documents without the book feature...

The Adobe solution is not the most charming one, the plugin I have to test it first.
