Different network connection per profile?

Hi

I have a wireless and a wired network. I normally run 2 PC's, one on each network but since my PC is in the shop, I want to move the apps to a seperate profile on my existing PC.

Here's what I hope to acheive - can anyone let me know if it's possible and how I can get it done?

On profile A - I want the default to be the wireless network and run my programs which include curl and Wget.

On profile B - I want the default to be the wired network and run chat and IE on that.

The issue with running them in the same profile is the numerous and intrusive popping up of the scheduled programs so I'm hoping to save my sanity by running them on a seperate profile and just switch users.

Any ideas?

No 'fraid not, I need both connections but want to use a different one per profile, with both running at the same time (not asking for much!). Unfortunately, network settings are global but it appears I can at least set firefox and IE to use a proxy server.

I've tried creating a proxy server and also tried ICS on the connection I'd like to use for FF/IE but cant get analogx to pick my preferred network connection and ICS isnt really a proxy so can't set that in FF/IE. As a last resort, I might dig out an old PC and use that as a proxy server - not keen on it, but needs must.

Thanks

Are both the NICs on the same subnet? If they aren't, why not try putting them on the same subnet.

If i did that, how could I go about forcing IE/FF to use one rather than the other? I can't force the http to use a certain route as some of the programs use http to connect to my work site.
