Hi everyone,
I've been reading this forum quite a bit lately, and I have to say thanks for everyone's great advice. I do have one question though, which I can't seem to figure out.

At my work (University in Florida) we're currently testing ePo 3, and it works really nicely. On campus we have a mixture of windows 95/98 and we are slowly migrating to XP, with a few intermittent windows 2000 machines (that's just a handful), however most of hte university is still running windows 98. We are running Vs451 on I would guess 98% of the machines, some of them have older version such as 4.0.5. but that's not a real big issue I think.
Back to my question. I've been looking at VSE7, and I can't seem to find any reasons to really switch from Vs451. I know VSE7 was made for 2k/XP machines, and that is what is it ment to run on, but are tehre any definate advantages to pushing VSE7 on the 2k/XP machines we have and keeping the rest on Vs451 until they are slowly phased out or would it be smarter to leave all the machines running Vs451?

Personally I don't see much of a differnce between the two applications, and I would greatly appreciate any kind of insight into which one of the two is better, as I seem to be kinda stupmed on that issue.
Thanks in advance,

Sven

I've noticed a difference in boot-up time. VSC 7 takes less time to get settled then the VSC 4.5.1.

I don't think these r reasons to go to 7 :)
I've heard (a rumor) that the 7 is better equipped for virus removal/cleaning then the 4.5 but i can't guarantee its 100% correct.

Easiest way is to read the README.TXT file in the installer package under WHAT'S NEW. This would be an accurate listing of the new features for VSE 7.0 that were not in VS 4.51.
