Difference between dates excluding weekends and holidays

I am trying to devlop a query that will calculate the number of days between two dates excluding holidays and weekends. I have tried to copy code and put it into my database; however, I keep getting an error message--something ambiguous. Can anyone HELP me?

Could you post the code you have tried and the error message that you are getting? Let us know where you put the code; behind a button or in a module for example. Kathryn

See faq181-261 the function there works. You DO need to have a table of holidays.

I tried putting the code back into my database in a module and it worked!! I have another question. The query where I use the function will not allow me to insert criteria. For example, I want to return all records >3 days.

The code I used came from jelamb--we work in the same office.
