The 750 is an older pack that was used for announcements. Of course it also has it drawbacks being older by not really having anyway to access them through a PC. You back them up using your R-Media. One board per R-Media. The recording time is a lot less than on the newer boards. ( I don't remember what that time is off the top of my head)Not really an easy to upload announcements to it.
The newer VAL boards are a lot more flexible than the 750 boards are. By this I mean you can access the announcements through your PC (several ways of doing it). This allows you to 1. backup 2. Manipulate (format, volume, clarity,) 3. 1 hour of total recording time. You can also setup audio groups and have redundant distributed paths for your announcements. VAL manager is mainly used to access these so you can create a backup file on your PC and save these as .wav files.
When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?
