I have a template for a 9/12 2 fold media folder,

The die cut is marked with a red perforated line. Should I delete these lines once my design is complete before sending for print so that it does not show?

Delete? Why not hide?

You can place these lines on a separate layer. It is then a simple matter of turning the visibility for that layer on and off.

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?

I would not hide or delete the dieline, change the color to spot (call it dieline). your printer will then overprint it and use the die image to cut down the proofs. But when it goes to press they will not make a plate of that color, but will sent a pos film of the die to the die maker.
