Hi to all,

We want to consolidate our DID trunks and our outgoing T1 into one PRI. We just installed the PRI, so we can move our DIDs over - right now the DIDs are coming in via DID trunk lines.

I have two questions. The first one is:

How do I tell the PRI to route the call to the proper extension? Our did range starts with 3100 to 3199. Right now, we are deleting the first two digits and replacing them with 35.

DID TRUNK INFORMATION

A Trk SS/PP Blk DiscTime Type ExpDig DelDig AddDig Signal InvDest
A 841 7/ 1 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt
A 842 7/ 2 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt
A 843 7/ 3 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt
A 844 7/ 4 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt
A 845 7/ 5 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt
A 846 7/ 6 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt
A 847 7/ 7 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt
A 848 7/ 8 1 500ms Wink 4 2 35 TouchTone BkupExt

And the other questions is why do I see the chanels for the T1 in slot 4 when I do a print out for the PRI? Is this normal? When we turned up the new PRI, the provider didn't have any issues as far as seeing my D-channel and B channels.

One more question:

How do I configure the extensions to use one particular pool? or how do I assign my new PRI to one pool, and for all the extension to use that pool when dialing 9 to make an outside call?

Thanks.

you must set up the same delete and add to the dial plan routing patterns.
