Have a strange intermittent problem. Seems sometimes a DID call goes to the attendant instead of the extension dialed. Have checked trunks and programming, looks ok. The display on the console shows acod+RM+49. Not sure where the 49 is coming from. Doesn't show that on a normal call. Any ideas. It's on an Option 11C rel 23.18 Copper DID trunks.

are you using idc? either way you need to do a ld 80 trac to see the dialed dn. if your getting a vacant did where doyou have it routed

No IDC, hard to do a trac when it only happens occasionally. I am not sure where a vacant DID goes, I'll check that. Thanks.

The 49 is the leading digits of the inbound call, 49xx, the reason only 49 is displayed is that is all system can recognize of incoming digits. If you print dnb for 4 it will show what is built in the 4xxx range.
Try and build any number with the leading digits of 49 and the display should show you more digits of the vacant number.

that's a new one on me, a vacant number sounds right, if your getting the 4900 did group. look at the vacant dn routing and the rdr data

if you add a trac key to the console, it will give you the tn of the trunk

Did a prt dnb for digit 4. Only thing there is one acd number of 40xx. Nothing else. This is a remote site so I need to get someone to check on the vacnat DID thing. I have the tn's of the trunks. Always a different one.

that's great, at least it isn't a card that requires a site visit. let us know what you find on the vnr

in this switch that sends my vacant dn's to a mica. by law you have to provide answer supervision. but the dialtone cops are usually busy

Look in the INT_DATA in ld 21 CTVN is call to vacant number. You are getting something with 49 as leading digit. Check with your carrier to see if any 4900 numbers are assigned to your account, may even be billing number. Check to make sure there are no "800" numbers that may send these digits as well.

Lastest scoop. I called a non working DID and it went to the switchboard with the acod+rmbr+49. Just like they are telling me. In INT_Data CTVN is set as OVF OVF OVF ATN. How do I get calls to non working dn's to receive a busy or something. I do not want these calls to reach the att.

The last column, ATN, is for DID numbers. ATN is attentdant, OVF is overflow. This is changed in LD 15 using the INT gate opener. Look in admin book for other available options for intercept treatment.

if you don't have a vancant number recording change that string to ovf ovf ovf bsy

I changed it to bsy, and then when I call any DID number I get a busy signal.
