DID Rollover

hello I have an 800 DID card on a Magix Release 4.0 with 4 DID lines running into it from the Telco

For somereason the lines are not rolling over and the TELCO is telling me that it is due to a configuration error on my equipment.

Can anyone provide insight on this?
 
Has someone tested each individual DID copper trunks? Maybe they mean that one of the four copper lines or trunk ports are not working.
 
they are getting an error that states that our system is not allowing the hunting feature and not rolling over to the next line

IF this is anything like a PRI setup then there is nothing on the magix that I am aware of that would prevent or allow this
 
usually they set these types of trunks in a circular fashion. even if one trunk were bad, the next attempted call should complete. are you able to complete any inbound calls? can you hear the wink activate on an inbound call? can you butt onto one of the trunks and hear digits being pulsed into you?

its probably not your configuration. if you've got the DI block set for the proper signaling (wink/wink, DTMF) and the proper digits, the worst it could be on your end is a tip/ring reversal. we just accept the calls as they come. we don't care what trunk they come in on as long as we're talking the same language.

Label each DID trunk with a unique identifier - such as DID-0, DID-1, etc.

Make multiple test calls to the same extension, and see how they come in.

Typically, if the CO hits a trunk that doesn't respond to their wink, it will time out and hit the next trunk.

When you find the bad one(s), check polarity, and try reversing it at the block (never know when a cable splicer may have "corrected" a polarity problem)

If you find trunks that don't work, swap them at the control unit, just to cover bases, but if still bad, report them to the telco.

The trunks are usually identified by the 1st DID number, then "SYS-" and the trunk number, starting with 0.
