Hello - Where would the DID range be located in the cisco call manager web admin site?

depends if you are using MGCP or H323.

if MGCP -

goto the gateway and click on the PRI, about halfway down there is a section for Caller ID DN. that is one place, if you are accepting the entire DID without any type of translation patterns.

if H323 -

you would need to look on the router for that


Another option, contact the PRI vendor to get the information.

Device> Gateway? This is the only option under the Cisco Unified Cm Administration. Is it maybe under another admin page like cisco unified connection administration?
The above option shows a couple of gateway that can be clicked on but no Caller ID DN section. Thanks
 
I went to Call Routing>Route Plan Report. Active phones (that can receive external calls) appear to be on an specific "partition"

The goals is to give a new hire a number that's accessible from the outside, etc. At the moment, his desk phone does have a number but it is not accessible from the outside.

What you need to do is call your local Telco, the ones providing the DID service and ask them what they are delivering to you as a DID range. When you have that, you can do a print of all your phones and see what numbers are being used and what are available.
 
Usually DIDs come in a "hundred" block, you may well have purchased one or more blocks. simply find an extension that has the indial capability and that should point you in the right direction!
