This is the most bizarre thing I've seen to date on my Nortel.
There's a specific company that when they call any of our DID's the phone will not ring on the physical phone however the caller hears ringing and then after 4 rings they go into a general Unity voicemail greeting. It is just when they call us, I can not duplicate the problem on any other phone or cell phone. In other words if I use my cell phone to call a DID the physical phone rings and hunting is applied properly.
Also if they call a phone where lhk is 0 and key 0 is busy call flow acts properly and the user's voicemail greeting is played not the general Unity voicemail greeting. The problem only exists when key 0 is idle and when this company calls us. Its as if when they call us the call goes into some la-la land and then cfna gets applied and voicemail picks up.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Why isn't the physical phone ringing in this case for these callers when it works for all other callers? Is there a way to see if they are hitting some other dn or programming?
