I am trying to establish DID off a PRI about 11 are going to be faxes and DIDs and the remaining lines are to be IN/OUT lines for all calls. Please help I am flustered with this situation.

The PRI can be both in and out, usually it is set for CALL BY CALL Service.

This means, in a nut shell, that if an incoming call needs to be routed to an extension, the system routes it that way, based on an Incoming Routing Table, -OR- if an outgoing call needs to be made, an outgoing table is used, but the same lines are used to make it so.

Are you getting a FULL PRI (23B & 1 D)?

Do you have info on what DIGITS the vendor is sending?

I can tell you how it is supposed to be programmed, based on the answers above.

I just spent 2 hours programming one yesterday for a cut in a few weeks.

This customer is going to use 15 out of 16 Tables for incoming routing.

And, a lot of other things are going to change in the way of call handeling with the cut to PRI.

Merlinman do you use AIM or YIM I need your help bad

If not Merlin man anyone who can help me establish outgoing lines on a PRI as well as assign numbers out the PRI to ring a certain ext. or fax or single line

Certainly, I will be able to help.

Contact me by email and we can discuss.

I must ENCODE my address on this forum for obvious reasons.

First off, you know my handle.

2nd, you know how to program a voice mail....

3rd put this together, and you will have it.

email addresses are handle, a sign (WHICH YOU KNOW), an isp (WHICH IS EXPRESSED BELOW IN DIAL CODES), a PUNCTUATION MARK (WHICH YOU KNOW) and a type of isp.

So my address is:

handle, that sign, isp = 23, 63, 61, 23, 21, 74, 81 THE PUNCTUATION MARK and something you catch fish in.

If you can't figure it out, POST, and I'll give hints.

OH and YES, I failed to respond properly.
