REQ:

So on your incoming Route you have no IDC defined, so you are getting 4 digits 6430, as you are only recieving 4 digits your LDN0 should only be 4 digits long (not 5). Is 6430 a valid extension?

For the out going need to know exactly what you are dialling should be AC1+PSTN number. Go into LD 86 (Print the ESN) check that the AC1 is as you think. Then into LD 90 check you AC1 SPN's find the best match for your PSTN number, get the RLI. Then into LD 86 and check the RLI/DMI where do you send it and what do you do to it.

The phone you are using to test make it CLS UNR and TGAR 0, to start make sure its not just a barring issue.

i made ldn 4 digits (3829) and i still get same message. yes 6430 is a valid extension number.
i made set to have unr and tgar 2 (higher than the targ on route) and i am using acod to dial but still won't get to the trunks.

Now, i am going to double check my AC1, SPN and RLI

A very strange thing that i have noticed is that when i unplug a particular phone (all phones are ip phone 1140), and i call the number, i get a ringback tone.

If a plug the phone and the phone boots up while still ringing, the phone rings but when i call again i still get the error.

Sounds like the phone forwarded to a non-working number or to a outside line at this time. What happens when you call a different DID number?

All the DID numbers behaves the same way. it's really a strange one.

I can't help you much as I don't work with the european software and I don't know what a lot of the prompts you have are. You might change the dsel prompt from vod to 3vce.

The other thing you havn't mentioned is the status of your b-channels. Are they all idle?

Did you force download your d-channel after you programmed it?

They are sending 4 digits. Is that the way the numbers are programmed on the set?

In the US sometimes the channels on the NI2 protocal will say idle but they are mbsy in the co. you can force the d-channel to do a restart of channels in ld 96 by enabling the d-channel again. you don't have to disable the d-channel to do this. you should see a message about channel 0 if the message goes out to the co.

Sounds like you may not have any working DSP's so phone unregistered get ring back, phone registered fails. Check the DSP's in the same cab as your PRI what state are they in. If they are idle can you ping from the phone to the TLAN address of your DSP (Be it a daughter card on an MGC, MC32S or VGMC).

@ wane47, yes all the channels are idle and the internal extensions are 4 digits in lenght and they can actually call themselves.

@bignose, i checked the DSPs and they are idle and i can actually ping all the DSPs DB from the IP phones

Can you try in and out from a tdm device in same gateway like an Analogue (this will get all the IP out the situation)? If that works ok move the Analogue device to a different gateway and check GW to GW testing DSP's in both.

You can get odd faults like this on clashing IP addresses Remove the TLAN from the MGC/MC32/VGMC can you still ping it from your phones (hopefully not but wouldn't be a first).

When the set is unregistered and you are getting ringing if you stat the TN is it busy?

I also had a similar problem back on release 4 or 4.5 where the Zones disappeared (Patch was brought out to fix) and the sets were programmed in a non-existant zone (Clutching at straws).

unfortunately, the site is all ip phones

i will just go and do the other two tests and report back

the callpiot cdn is 7000, it is out of range of the DID numbers.

IP phone are calling themselves and are talking.

Put an IDC table in and pick a spare DID to route to 7000 (not a bas idea to have this any way so users can pick up VM from outside the office).

IP phones are in the same VLAN and the voice path is direct phone to phone no hardware involved.

Can the IP phones call the callpilot and is the MGate for the Callpilot in the same gateway as the PRI?

IP phones can call callpilot.

the MGate is in a different gateway from the callpilot.

What type of callpilot is it a card (i201) or an external server?

OK so the MGATE is in a different gateway to the PRI if you add an IDC and only put the one entry in it, a spare DID number in full (4 digits) and change it to 7000, if you get the same results as before calls failing then your Phones are out the equation and you know the gateway with your CP MGATE is good (as you have tested it and its DSPs by calling from an IP phone to the CP) so that would only leave the GW containing the PRI.

i am trying to remove the pri and re-configure it in the gateway containing the MGate card.

i have removed the trunks, route and the DCH but i can't seem to be able to remove the clock.
it will not let me disable.

when i do dis cc 0 from LD 60, it returns error dti003
