Can I use a DID number or a service route to forwared callers into a mailbox. Customer has a MICS 4.1 with PRI trunks, 8 port NAM

If the MB matches the recived digits do this> DO NOT MAKE A TAREGT LINE make the PRI trunks prime the VM DN then calls will go into the MB.

if you make the trunk prime to the vmail all calls on that trunk will go to vmail no matter what the rec'd digits are.
I think it is better to point a target line to vmail and leave all the did's prime to none.
You can have it prime to the attendant with enough rings so if someone dials an unused (but activated) DID number it will be answered eventually by the attendant, but she probably won't know what to do with the call anyway .

let me correct what i said .
(set all the DID trunks as prime to NONE.) if you want any unused but assigned did's to go to the attendant point them there with the target lines . like i believe the default setting is.
