DID calls are not going to extensions mailbox but is going to general mailbox. How do I change this so DID calls are going to the extensions mail box instead of general mailbox.
This system is a MIC 5.0 with a NAM 4.0 voice mail.
Have you run the patch to disable redirect DN? This can be done through Norstar Voicemail Manager if you don't have the disk. Also, set the prime set for each target line to be the set where the target line appears & rings.
No I don't have a patch for this. Also all DIDs are going to the auto attendant prompt instead of their individual voicemail box. Just recently upgraded system from 4.1 to 5.0. Everything was working before the upgrade. The reason for the upgrade was experiencing problems with T-1 PRI.
exsmogger is 100% correct with the redirect issue I have came across this many of times, the first time it was happening to me I thought that I was losing it! but don't worry it's a simple fix.
Is the redirect in the voice mail or phone system? If its in the voice mail how would I program redirect? I know where it is in the phone system, and I thought redirect in the phone system was for off site forwarding?
